The pre-race activities have been booked.

Post race recovery has been lined up courtesy of Jason.

(Jeff and I will help Jason by giving him a hard bike workout while he pulls us around as we drink beer and watch the big screen TV.)

Now, the only thing left to do is to execute.

(For those keeping track, that is sub-3:05 for myself and sub-3:10 for Jeff)

Jennie and I ship off to the Great Country of Texas tomorrow.  We are looking forward to a chance to finally meet Jeff, Annie and Jason.  I’ll hopefully do a quick post either here or on Facebook after the race, but there won’t be any live updates as in the past because Jennie will be too busy running her FIRST EVER half marathon!!!

Have a great week everyone!

Oh buddy! This is going to be awesome! I’m so stoked for you AND Jennie! You guys are going to do so well. I wish it were like IM’s that I could track you as you go, but I guess I’ll just have to check the times after they are posted or read about it on your race report.

You’ve done all the training and are totally prepared, so now you just have to git ‘er done! Go, Kevin and Jennie, Go!!!

That muttun busting looks like a blast – - almost as fun as Nascar! :)

Dude, I have goose bumps reading this. So freaking happy for you guys. I know the training wasn’t easy but you did it and this is all coming to life now.

Enjoy your trip (make sure you pack your passports) and honestly… make it freaking hurt! When you want to quit because you are cramping or the legs start burning, push harder, the pain is temporary and will be gone in a matter of minutes.

Have fun out there! KICK SOME ASS!
