We’re back! Did you miss me? No? Oh well, your loss. Jennie and I have just returned from a wonderful week long vacation in northern lower Michigan with her family. I’m still compiling all of the details from the trip – the training up there is amazing! So, to tide you over, I figured I should quick finish up this draft that I had laying around. Enjoy!

My favorite cartoon character is…Growing up it was the Tasmanian Devil. Currently though… hmm… does a college mascot count?
My favorite thing to photograph is…Scenery. I enjoy photography but have really never had a chance to really learn the process so I just use the old trial and error method.
The one on the left is an HDR photo I took/compiled at my boss’s cottage of Lake Michigan.
My favorite thing to cook is… Probably tacos and pizza because they are easy to make and delicious.
My favorite way to exercise is…I’m stealing this one from Heather. Anything that gets me sweaty. Otherwise it isn’t worth it. I’ve never excelled at team sports but that doesn’t stop me from trying when the opportunity arises.
My favorite movie is…Way too may to ever single it down to one. The Usual Suspects, Ocean’s 11, any Bond movie, Inception, the Bourne series, American Beauty, The Departed, and I could keep going. I’ll watch pretty much any movie.
My favorite article of clothing is… Depends on the season. Long athletic shorts and a t-shirt in the summer. Jeans and a sweat shirt in the fall/winter.
My favorite flower is…Hmmmm. Flower? Can I go with a plant? Are you sensing a pattern here??
If I had to choose a flower, I’d probably have to go with the sunflower just because anything with the golden ratio fascinates me.

My favorite breakfast is…Scrambled eggs with onions and peppers, cheese melted on the top and covered in salsa along with a fresh fruit smoothie and toast on the side.

I have always hated the Tazmanian Devil. No reason, he just annoys me. I do love me a sunflower, and the same rule applies for pineapples and artichokes, yum! It pays to be a botanical illustrator, you get to eat you subjects. Nice photos of the sunsets!
