Fortunately I can stay mostly "resolutioner" free. They won't run outside in the cold. They won't bike outside in the cold. And I go to a pool on such a weird schedule that there is no way they would show up on a lunch hour.

But I remember exactly 2 years ago showing up to the pool in baggy swim trunks....I was "that guy."

Great post! I always feel conflicted about the "Resolutioners" too. On one hand, you want others to live healthy and active lifestyles, but sometimes it can be frustrating too. They take up a lot more space/equipment/water, don't know gym/pool etiquette, etc. I guess we just all need to remember that we were new once too :)

Bhahaha, love the comparison of the resolutioners! I have the same problem at my gym too. It's a national phenomenon.

When I'm in the pool I can barely remember how many lengths I've done, as opposed to remembering complex swim work-outs. How do you keep track on what you're supposed to be doing as opposed what you're actually doing? Write it on the back of your hand? :)
