Today was no fun. I got asked to fix someone’s computer and as usual, I was unable to say no. So, I headed out this afternoon to work on it. It ended up taking longer than I had planned and I didn’t get home until after 4:00. That didn’t leave much time to squeeze in a bike ride before sundown. I threw on my lights and headed out. I ended up doing laps around the Calvin College campus. It is about a mile and a half loop. Kind of boring, but it was flat and more importantly safe. I ended up doing 8 laps for 12 miles and then added on some more after that to round it out to 20 miles.
On the way home, I stopped to take a picture of the beautiful sunset. The sky was so red, it looked like it was on fire. A great way to end the ride.
The ride was a great way to realize the stress of the day. However, with the time I spent fixing the computer and biking, now I have to make up my work hours tonight. I can’t complain though, I just lucky to have a job that is so flexible.
Finally, I saw this ad for Lazer bike helmets online and it gave me a good laugh. Enjoy!
