I went out for a quick bike ride this morning. I only did a 45 minute ride getting in 13.5 miles, but I am beat. My legs felt like rubber nearly the entire time. It wasn’t so bad on the flats, but as soon as I would hit a hill, I thought I was going to start rolling backwards. My run yesterday was the same thing. I did 5 miles and my legs felt tired the entire way. I guess my long weeks are finally catching up to me.
I’m headed off to Denver for two days for work, so maybe I will use that time to relax and give my legs some time to recover. I was hoping to run a bit in Denver to check out the city, but depending on the work schedule, I may not even have time to do that.
